Graybar has invited chapter members to a Counter Day on Friday, July 10th from 10am to 5pm.  The event is sponsored by Square D, APC and Panduit and will include a NASCAR simulator.  Hamburgers and hotdogs will be served from 11 am to 2 pm. 

In IBEW Local #271, sixth period apprentice David Gill was selected as a winner with his essay answering “What are the advantages of alternative energy sources in today’s electrical industry?”

On April 24, 2015, at the Hidden Lakes Golf Course in Derby, the Wichita Division of the Kansas Chapter, NECA participated in the Workforce Alliance’s Jobs FORE Youth Golf Tournament to raise over $10,000 to go directly to sponsor youth employment and internships for students in South Central Kansas.

This year NECA NOW was held April 13-16 in Miami, Florida at the InterContinental and was attended by the Chapter’s Executive Director and several members.

The Kansas Chapter, NECA has officially instated an Affiliate Partnership Program in order to create and foster valuable contacts and business relationships between NECA members and other associates in the electrical industry.
