This year NECA NOW was held April 13-16 in Miami, Florida at the InterContinental and was attended by the Chapter’s Executive Director and several members. The Sunshine State welcomed Kansas members with beautiful beaches, tasty seafood, and vibrant nightlife. Those present had multiple opportunities to attend educational meetings and seminars run by people on the cutting edge of their respective field. Kansas Chapter members enjoyed Miami’s unique cuisine by gathering for dinner at Truluck’s, a wonderful seafood and steakhouse just minutes from the waterfront. After learning the latest and greatest trends in the industry and dining in Miami’s great restaurants, NECA Now concluded with a “Havana Nights” themed closing celebration where members enjoyed casino games, karaoke, and dancing. Kansas members returned home with new ideas to grow their businesses and a few sunburns; yet again, NECA Now was a valuable and fun opportunity for Kansas NECA members.
