Saturday morning the board of directors meeting took place followed by the general membership meeting. Federated Insurance invited members to a complimentary risk management day in Wichita and presented a safe driving campaign to help mitigate the risk that comes with a fleet of vehicles and employed drivers. The membership discussed the current work picture, political environment, and other matters specific to each local. A regional update was presented by the Southern Region Vice President, who attended both meetings. Saturday evening members and their families were treated to a chapter dinner at Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse in Bricktown.
The summer meetings are a great opportunity to come together, network, share ideas, and stay plugged in to what’s happening in the chapter and the industry. The next board of directors and general membership meeting will be on December 16, 2016, and we hope you will attend.
