In October the Chapter held a Golf Tournament at Sand Creek Station Golf Course in Newton, Kansas.  The tournament was a success with over sixteen teams registered and fourteen hole sponsors.  Cash prizes were awarded to teams from Boman Electric for first and second Place and a team from Zenor Electric for capturing third.  Prizes were also awarded for a putting competition, longest drive and closest to the pin.  Additionally, money was generously donated to House of Hope who was also in attendance.  House of Hope is a non-profit designated to helping troubled teens and their families.  We hope to be able to continue this fun event for our members and appreciate the sponsors that helped make the tournament a success.  We would like to thank Consolidated Electrical Distributors, Inc., Delta Electric, Nate Stroup, Jeff Stevenson, and Cole Waddell of Federated Insurance, Graybar Electric of Wichita, Holophane Lighting, Kilian Electrical, Linder and Associates, Marcus Gilmore of Milwaukee Tools, Shelley Electric, Southwestern Electrical Co, Total Electric and Wesco Distribution for sponsoring our event.
